Having a hiatus from the world of blogging

7 Feb

I have decided now to have a hiatus from the world of blogging. I thank everyone for the interest in The Indie Aspie & my other blog, Petesmusic’s Blog. It was an interesting experience for myself. I was in a Sydney Bloggers Group in Sydney, Australia before the group discontinued months ago. I had an opportunity to meet some other bloggers face to face. My latest challenge at present is I am now studying Information Technology at a technical college in Sydney’s Western Suburbs, Australia. My main goal for now is to be a web designer. I am now doing the most basic Information Technology at present. There might be a day when I will doing a blog post. It is farewell from me.

I seem to be happier when the Ashes Test Cricket is on. Ashes Test Cricket is between Australia & England. So far two tests have being played. The third test is on this coming Friday. I have being watched much as possible on television from my home in Sydney, Australia. If not watching TV, then keeping posted on my smartphone. Either reading Twitter feeds or using the smartphone browser. It is a good distraction for me. It does signify the Australian summer. I like watching cricket but hated playing cricket at school. I was a hopeless cricket player. I could not bowl, bat & had butter fingers for fielding. I am interested in the numbers & the many statistics that signifies cricket. I do barrack for Australia. So far so good. Australia are leading the current series 2-0. But there are three tests remaining. My prediction is for the Australia to get the Ashes back. A good ending to end the year of 2013. I wish all followers a Happy Christmas & a Happy New Year.

I was right about the Aussie Conservatives latest electoral win

Tony Abbott - Caricature

I was right about the Conservative Coalition winning the 2013 Australian election over the Australian Labor Party. The last election was held was September 7, 2013. Before this last election, Kevin Rudd was the Australian prime minister. The current prime minister is Tony Abbott. He leads the Conservative Coalition consisting of the Liberal Party and the National Party. Kevin Rudd who was the previous prime minister. Not to forget, he was the Australian leader of the Australian Labor Party. After losing the Australian election, Kevin Rudd is no longer the Australian leader of the Australian Labor Party. The Australian Labor Party are now in opposition. It is now a leadership contest between Bill Shorten and Anthony Albanese. It will take weeks at least before a winner is declared. Chris Bowen for now is the interim opposition leader. Yes Kevin Rudd is still a member of parliament. The backbencher from the seat of Griffith. I have nothing much to say about the current government. It is still early days. I will make my opinions clear in future.

I made a prediction earlier this year that in the Australian election that Tony Abbott beat Julia Gillard. Julia Gillard is no longer the Australian prime minister after losing the leadership challenge battle within her own political party, the Australian Labor Party to Kevin Rudd. The battle actually happened on June 26, 2013. He was sworn by the Australian Governor General, Quentin Bryce on June 27, 2013. This is his second stint as the Prime Minister of Australia. As well, he is a local member of the Queensland seat of Griffith. The last day of sitting in Australian parliament on June 27, 2013. The Australian election was called earlier this year by Ms Gillard for September 14, 2013. Since Mr Rudd is the current Australian Prime Minister, he has yet to decide on a definite date for the Australian election. The only definite here for now is still this year. Tony Abbott is still the Opposition Leader of Australia. He is as well the leader of the Liberal Party. The current opposition consist of a Conservative coalition from the Liberal Party and the National Party. About the previous prime minister, Julia Gillard is now only a local member of parliament till the next Australian election. My revised prediction is now that Tony Abbott will be next Australian Prime Minister beating Kevin Rudd.

I have a fatty liver too

I have not just Asperger’s Syndrome to deal with but I have a fatty liver too. It definitely was not due to alcoholism. It was due to consumption of a pharmaceutical drug made by Novartis called Tegretol 200. All pharmaceutical drugs on the market can have its benefits but has side effects as well. I did give up alcohol due to taking a combination of pharmaceutical drugs daily. I was not an addict of alcohol. I can’t have too much burgers with fries. I can’t consume too much ice cream. I can’t consume too many of these fizzy drinks. I can’t consume too much chocolate. I can’t consume too many cakes. Their the foods I most love eating. I can consume some in moderation. My General Practioner has asked me to lose weight. Not easy with consumption of pharmaceutical drugs. I do have a gym membership. I do go regularly as I can. I do regularly walk as much as possible. The main thing is that I am aware that I have Asperger’s & the fatty liver. It must seem bad news. It can be good news in the long run having the awareness in the first place.

Back from the Melbourne trip for the better I hope

I have being feeling mentally stale for the last few months. I decided to spend a few days in Melbourne to get away from the blues of my home city. My home city is Sydney, Australia. Sydney is the largest city in Australia. I made a decision to go on a holiday to Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne is the second largest city in Australia. One reason is that I was very pissed off with the social welfare industry of Australia. Being unemployed from paid work for four years is another reason as well. I booked the trip to Melbourne on the internet. I arrived in Melbourne on March 8, 2013 & left there on March 12, 2013. It turned out that March 11, 2013 was a Labour Day Public Holiday in Melbourne & the rest of the state of Victoria. Melbourne is the state capital of Victoria. I had a good trip & hope to be back for the positive. Beside blogging, I can’t say what I will be doing for now. The main thing I can think of is to keep healthy. Hope for the best. Hope for some good news down the track.

Last week, the Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard has announced the Australian Federal Election will be held on September 14. My prediction is the Australian Labor Party will lose to the Conservatives. The next Prime Minister of Australia will be Tony Abbott. He will win in my opinion because Tony Abbott will come out as the less unpopular one on September 14. The current Prime Minister will win her seat of Lalor which is in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs but will quit politics after losing the 2013 election. Anything can happen now till September. Eight months can be forever in Australian politics. Tony Abbott is now the Australian Opposition Leader  leading the Conservative Coalition consisting of the Liberal Party & the National Party.  He has held his current job in 2010 where not long after he led the Conservatives to lose to Labor. This time I predict he will come Australia’s next Prime Minister. He is as well a sitting member of Warringah which is located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Here is my early early Australian Election Predictions. Later this year, I will write a post on the Australian election results.  Thank you Wikipedia & the Australian Electoral Commission for the research.

The Indie Aspie yet again. It is me. Why did I call it The Indie Aspie? It is a bit of a story. I have being Asperger’s for the last two years. It is a lot to do that I do act too independent. Is it a good or bad thing? Ask what others think of me then I can have a few comments. Wow I love to see that. I do find some hard to conform. Sometimes it can be too hard. My new year’s plan was to enrol at an Australian technical college in the state of New South Wales & do less posts for being too busy as a student. Guess what after a bad experience at a Disability Services Provider. They absolutely so unsupportive for me to study. I thought I was a good long term investment. My last case manager was a bogan & looked so unprofessional. Looked like she was out of prison. Since I was considered a bad short term investment, I was not considered good enough for a bunch of men hating women. That place is nothing short of rotten ghost branch which is not even listen on the provider’s website. Due to illness, I have got right out of the Disability Employment Services because it is too abnormal to the core. I can’t be a student now. Lost all motivation to go the chosen place of education. Now it is more posts & you are going hear a lot more from me than expected. I am hard man & just want to keep writing. Getting addicted. I can’t stop now because world domination is around the corner. Don’t knock me & knock you off for six like in cricket. Goodbye.

Is Blogging A Form Of Work ?

Watching and Blogging

Watching and Blogging (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

I was once in a group of people where everyone else was in paid work except me. I said to this accounting worker that I was a blogger. He assumed that I don’t work at all. I don’t understand how blogging is not work. I can’t believe anything that is unpaid is treated like it is nothing. Most work in this world is unpaid. Anything unpaid is too undervalued. Some people do assume you are nothing unless you earn a lot of money. The truth is some are overpaid for doing next to no work because they can’t do anything constructive. That is from my work experience. I am doing something very constructive but don’t get paid. It is a shame I seem to insignificant in the mainstream because of the dollars. I am not ripping off someone else in money. I am keeping out of trouble. I haven’t committed a crime. In my opinion, it is my idea of doing a community service. Making the world richer with my writings. Work can be a lot of things. There can be many disagreements what is considered work & what is not considered work. It is Saturday night I am writing my blog post. In my opinion, work is work no matter what it is. Blogging is work because that accounting worker needs a reality check.
